The Central States OAUG is the official OAUG Geo group for Missouri and Kansas.  We facilitate meetings, conferences and follow-on social events which provide relevant content, education and networking opportunities to the Oracle Applications user community in our region.  We encourage participation from users, partners and Oracle resources from all over the country and the world. We were founded in the year 2000 and have increased in membership and conference attendance every single year since our beginning. 

Members from our board attend the national OAUG conferences and Oracle OpenWorld every year in order to incorporate the best ideas from these quality events into our conferences. The important thing to our organization is not just the increase in attendance, which we do consider a metric for success, but the increasing quality of our events.  We have acheived recognition from Oracle Corporation, OAUG and many Fortune 500 organizations for the quality of our events, and we strive to improve them each year.  Our group was recognized in the OAUG Insight magazine for our innovative and highly successful Executive RoundTable series, which we have been conducting every year since 2004.

We have also won the GEO/SIG Certificate of Distinction Outstanding Achievements award, and our board holds leadership positions on numerous OAUG Committees, including the Geo/SIG Committee, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) SIG, and OAUG Fusion Council.
